1. WSP / ATR Submission
- Compiling and submitting of the mandatory grant application to the relevant SETA on behalf of the employer.
- The development, implementation, and submission of a Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) to the relevant SETA on behalf of the employer.
- Compiling and submitting an Annual Training Report to the relevant SETA on behalf of the employer
- Providing our clients with an external Skills Development facilitator.
- Acting as a liaison for communicating information between the employer and the relevant SETA.
- Providing advice on any matter relating to skills development.
2. Discretionary Grant Application
- Advising the employer about discretionary grants and PIVOTAL Programs.
- Acting as a liaison for communicating information between the employer and the relevant SETA.
- Applying for additional funding for any formal qualification from relevant SETA
3. Employment Equity Submission
- Assisting in reporting to the Department of Labour concerning:
- Employment Equity and assisting with the drafting of an Employment Equity plan.
- Appointment of a Training committee in the case of 50 or more employees, as required by the Skills Development Levies Act.
- Assiting in appointment of EE comitee with quaterly meetings.
4. Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998:
The aim of this act is to achieve equity in the workplace by promoting equal opportunity and fair treatment in employment through the elimination of unfair discrimination and the implementation of transformation.
Who are liable to comply with the act?
Any employer who employees 50 or r ^ employees is liable to comply with the – act. Strict fines may be imposed by Department of Labour on any non-compliance.
